Charlie Garner

Charlie Garner  attended J.E.B. Stuart High School from 1988-1991. During Charlies senior season, he earned 1st Team All-Metropolitan (Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland and the District of Columbia), 1st Team All-State, and was named Virginia’s player of the year. This very season, Charlie rushed for more than 2,000 yards and had 38 touchdowns.

After high school, Charlie ended up playing for the Tennessee Volunteers playing along side Peyton Manning.

He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft and played 11 years ending his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On October 16, 2009, Garner had his JEB Stuart High School number 30 jersey retired during a halftime ceremony.

Penny Moore

Penny Moore (born January 25, 1969) is a former Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) player. She played in the league from its inception in 1997 to 1999. She played for Charlotte Sting in 1997, then for the Washington Mystics in 1998 and 1999. She attended J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church, Virginia.
